Reviews and Ratings <br />
The resort has potential but needs significant improvements. While I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the room conditions were disappointing and the food quality left much to be desired. The location had a nice beach but wasn't directly beachfront, making it a bit of a hassle to access it. Overall, it's not a great value for money unless serious renovations and upgrades happen.
My experience at the resort was quite mixed. While the beach area was lovely and the staff were mostly warm and welcoming, the rooms left much to be desired, with cleanliness and maintenance being significant issues. The dining options were repetitive and not always appetizing; however, there were a few standout moments in the specialty restaurants. Overall, it offered good value for the right expectations, but improvements in cleanliness and food quality are definitely needed.
This resort has some great qualities, like a clean beach and friendly staff, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by a series of issues. The lack of hot water was frustrating, and the rooms could definitely use some updating. While the pool area was pleasant, the overall condition of the property left much to be desired.
I had a wonderful two-week stay at Puerto Plata Village, enjoying the beautiful grounds and the variety of activities available. The beach was a short shuttle ride away and the accommodations were clean and well-maintained. However, the dining experience left something to be desired with the buffet food lacking excitement, and the pool cleanliness could use some improvement. Overall, it was great value for a family getaway, but just be prepared for a few quirks during your stay.
I just returned from an amazing two-week stay at Puerto Plata Village with my family. The hotel grounds were absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and well-maintained. The beach was just a quick shuttle ride away and offered plenty of activities. However, while the food was decent, it wasn’t always the best. Overall, we had a fantastic time with lots of family-friendly activities and a welcoming atmosphere.
